Blundstone 2144 Active is part of the new Blundstone Active series. The Blundstone 2144 Active series is specially designed for those who love adventure and being active. This shoe is made for action! The Active series and therefore the Blundstone 2144 has been in our collection since autumn/winter 2021/2022. The shoes have the characteristic Blundstone details and features. Blundstone has retained the silhouette but added a nice clean line. This gives the shoes a sporty and powerful look. Model 2144 has the exclusive Blundstone brown nubuck colour. A colour that you may know from the popular model 585 or 1306. A colour that can easily be paired with all colours. The best quality leather has been selected for this model. The Blundstone Active series models are then produced for you with tender love and care in the Blundstone factories.
The Active series and therefore the Blundstone 2144 with special sole
The sole is made of rubber, which ensures a flexible and light sole. The outsole is a special EVA sole. Optimal comfort is also stimulated because the shoe breathes extra well. In addition, the shoe has a special PU midsole. This sole absorbs the shocks on the back, knees and feet. This gives you more grip and stability. This way, you can easily walk many kilometres on end. Perfect for a challenging city trip or a beautiful walk through nature. The insole is made of antibacterial material. This ensures that the shoes remain dry and fresh. The footbed also stays in good shape even after long and intensive use.
The Active series is based on the models of the Original collection. The active series models are true to size and have a normal entry. It can be the case that your size falls between two sizes. Wearing insoles is not uncommon with the Blundstone models. A good option is, for example, the Xtreme comfort footbed. At Blundstone it is important to have room at the toes, some extra space at the heel is also not an issue. However, the instep must be nice and snug. The Active series can be nicely paired with a sporty outfit such as a tracksuit. But trousers or jeans are also perfect. With every step, the shoe will certainly contribute to optimal comfort. Het voetbed (inlegzooltje) van de classics heeft op de hak nog extra poron inzet. Dit hebben de originals alleen in de schoen zitten en niet in het voetbed (standaard inlegzooltje)
Classics hebben in de zool extra sps (shock protection system) . dit zie je met het oog niet maar het staat op de zool bij de classics. Het is verwerkt in de schoen. Dit sps kan zorgen voor gevoel van nog minder vermoeidheid en minder pijn in de rug. Het vangt nog beter schokken op met lopen. De druk op de voeten neemt af. Zorg dat wanneer het losse voetbed is versleten dat het tijdig wordt vervangen. De Xtreme footbeds (luxe losse inleg zooltjes) zijn los te bestellen en zorgt voor comfort wanneer het zooltje versleten is.
De wreef van de classics is ronder en heeft op de wreef meer ruimte. Ook op het teen gedeelte hebben de classics meer ruimte dan de originals

Classics have extra sps (shock protection system) incorporated in the sole. This sps can provide a feeling of even less fatigue and less pain in the back. It absorbs shocks even better when walking. The pressure on the feet decreases. Make sure that when the loose footbed is worn it is replaced in time. The Xtreme footbeds (luxury loose insoles) can be ordered separately and provide comfort when the sole is worn out.
The instep of the classics is rounder and has more space on the instep. Also on the toe part the classics have more space than the originals.
