Lug Boots Blundstone 2240

The Blundstone 2240 is a slightly chunkier Blundstone shoe. The Blundstone 2240 has the same sole as model 910 and is a sturdy chelsea boot. The Lug boots 2240 have a premium black leather. The premium leather of the lug boots, has the same leather as the classic 558 and original 510. The leather of the lug boots is water-resistant and becomes more supple as you wear the shoes. The shoe has the well-known Arch sole. This sole offers great comfort.

How do I know if the shoes fit?

Blundstones’ sizes are different from other brands. Make sure you are sure the size is right. We have created a checklist for you, so you can easily see if the shoes are right by using this list.

Fit:
Make sure your toes can move completely freely and don’t touch anything. It helps if you remove the loose insoles from the shoe and stand on them. On average, you have half a centimetre left in the length. Is the length right, but the shoes feel too wide? Then make sure you put an extra insole in the shoe, so that you get higher in the shoe. Your heel may come up a few millimetres. The instep comes up against the leather at the top, so the shoe fits well, when you walk.

Tip while trying on:
I recommend removing the insoles while trying on. Stand on them with both feet. When you have around 0.5/0.7 mm left, the length is good. If they feel too wide, put in an extra sole. This will put you higher in the shoe.

Half sizes:

Half sizes are not longer in length at Blundstones. It means that half sizes are wider around the instep.
