There are different Blundstone categories that all have a different fit. The Blundstone 1941 fall into the Classic series. This means that the Blundstone 1941 is lined with leather on the inside. Extra soles are included with all Classics. All Blundstones are water-repellent from the factory. So initially you don't need to do anything, but over time the shoes do need maintenance. The Blundstone 1941 is made of nubuck leather. We recommend nourishing the leather and keeping it supple with the rustic renovating cream. In addition, it is important to make the Blundstone 1941 water-repellent. This can of course be done with Blundstone's waterproof spay.

Making the Blundstone 1941 water-repellent

It is important to keep the shoes water-repellent. In the range you will find Blundstone's waterproof spray. Once you have received the spray, make sure you do not press the spray. Press down on the spray and then release. A cloud of the liquid comes out. You spray until the shoe is completely treated. The shoe polish you will find in accessories preserves supple, nourished leather, but also makes the boots instantly water-repellent. Keep in mind that the shoes will darken a little at first. Over time, the shoes will naturally lighten in colour again.

What size to choose for the Blundstone 1941
The Blundstone 1941 comes from the Classic series. The Classic series is generally a bit wider than the Originals. Blundstones' sizes may be slightly different from all other brands. This is because with Blundstone, the half sizes do not represent more room in the length, but rather more room at the instep. So if you have a high instep or a wide foot and size 42, it is best to opt for size 42.5. Size 42 and size 42.5 have the same length measurement, only size 42.5 has more room at the instep.
