Thermal Blundstone 1478
The new Thermal collection now exclusively at Blundstone Benelux! These special Thermal models will keep your feet warm during the increasingly cold winter days. The Blundstone 1478 is similar to model 587. This is because of the special black nubuck colour. Nubuck is sanded leather, which gives it a rough look. Apart from nubuck, Blundstone also has smooth leather and suede models in its collection. The shoes are produced from high-quality leather. Only the best is good enough. Blundstone stands for quality and all our employees ensure the best chelsea boots. The sheepskin footbed provides extra warmth and comfort.
The Blundstone sheepskin footbed can also be replaced with your own. Besides a Thermal model, the Blundstone 1478 is also a Classic model. The Classics are known for the wider last and are also suitable for people with a higher instep, for example. With Blundstone, it is normal to be able to move the toes freely and have some extra space at the heel. It is important that the instep fits nicely. Of course, you can always use an extra insole to allow your foot to rise higher in the shoe, filling the space between the instep and the leather.
The material of the Blundstone 1478
The soles of the Blundstone 1478 are made of polyurethane, or PU. PU has several advantages. Among other things, it provides extra flexibility and the sole is also a lot lighter. As a result, your feet, knees and back are less likely to be affected. So you can walk many kilometres with ease. So the boots are perfect for a good walk through nature or the city.
